Songs that Stick

Don't you just love it when a song gets stuck in your head? And you try to sing another song, but can't think of the words to just one different song? Yeah, I hate it too! The other day I had the worst song stuck in my head. Do you remember the kids program called Lambchops and how they would sing "The Song that Never Ends" at the end of every program? You know how it goes,

"This is the song that never ends.
It just goes on and on, my friend.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue singing it forever just because,
This is the song that never ends..."

*And continue singing until Jesus comes back!

Well, I couldn't get out of my head (and you probably can't now) so I just gave in and started singing it out loud in the car. Ethan was with me and thought it was cool the first couple of times. By the third time, he was begging me to stop. Since his begging is worse that my singing, I stopped. However, I had passed the torch of song because in a few minutes, he was humming it. When he found that he couldn't stop, he told me , " I wish you had never sung that song and I had never heard it!" Baby, that makes two of us and maybe more if you are singing it in your head now.

Here's your replacement song:

It's a small world after all. It's a small world after all. It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world.

No need to thank me!
