Awesome Sunday!

We had a incredible Sunday yesterday! Our Assistant Pastor's wife's brother (yeah, yeah, I know that is a long description, but I can't think of a shorter way to say it!) started coming to church about three months ago. Yesterday, he had planned on getting baptized after the service and then, THEN, he got the Holy Ghost during the altar service! I know Joanna has to be so elated and we certainly are. She has been a constant light to her family. In Taiwan, when you get married, there are a lot of traditionally done things that do not line up with the word of God. The bride must wear a lot of make-up for the big wedding meal and must wear tons of jewelry that has been given to her from the grooms family. But she stood for her faith against the pressure of her family and David's family. And yesterday, she had to joy of seeing her brother be born again into God's kingdom!
