A Super-Duper Supermarket!
A new Wong's Supermarket recently opened here in Kaohsiung. It has some really awesome features that most other grocery stores around here don't have. Actually, it's been called the "Superstar of Supermarkets."
Top notch quality!
For instance, It has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the distant sound of thunder and the smell of fresh rain in the air.
When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and you experience the scent of fresh cut hay.
In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks and smoked ribs.
In the seafood department, the fresh, clean, crisp smell of the ocean and the sound of waves slapping the shoreline greets you.
When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.
The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread & cookies.
However, I've stopped buying toilet paper there...
(HaHaHa... Okay, I feel that I should confess that I ripped this off of another blog! Don't worry, I ask permission first and he then confessed that he actually ripped it off of an e-mail. However, if you would like to check out the blog of an AIMer with a pretty great sense of humor, just click right here.)
Is old enough to vote, now old enough to be president. I have 1 wonderful husband and 2 marvelous kids. I live and work in Taiwan with the afore mentioned husband and kids. We have been missionaries here together since 2001, but Chris landed on the island back in 1981. He has been leaving his mark ever since. I came as a new bride with her head in the clouds and it helped tremendously with culture shock! If you want to know anything else about us, you will just have to read the posts.
